An exciting opportunity has arisen for a RF Analogue/Digital Design Engineer with a background in design and development of high frequency electronic systems with high reliability technical products.
Working within a small close knit team embedded within Mechanical Engineering, the Configuration Engineer will be able to converse and influence stakeholders throughout the company and collaborate with many functions, including: Quality, Manufacturing and Procurement.
The Design Engineer will be joining a team focussed on designing and developing high frequency electronic circuits and sub-assemblies, for use within state of the art radio frequency applications. You will be performing design, test and integration activities in accordance with all relevant processes, standards and requirements
The Configuration Engineer will be part of an experienced team, which has a record of individual support within the area of Configuration Management. There will be the chance for development within the discipline, and also to develop Language skills as part of the role, as there will be the opportunity for UK and EU travel.
Requirements / Skills
*Ideally with a qualification in a technical discipline, City and Guilds / BTEC or above or relevant Knowledge and experience gained in radar or microwave design and development
*Knowledge of high frequency design tools e.g. Agilent ADS or HFSS
*Knowledge of microwave antennas and analogue electronic product design
*Ability to produce high quality written reports and presentations to internal and external customers
*Be able to demonstrate an awareness of national, international and defence standards.
*Be able to demonstrate team working experience
*Be comfortable dealing with people at all levels within the company
*To demonstrate a level of initiative a high concern for order and quality and an eye for detail
*Good Communication Skills - Verbal, Written, Electronic, as well as being able to support and guide and influence key stakeholders.
