Job Title: Lead Prototype Wirer
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: Up to £30,000 based on previous experience
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN SC LEVEL SECURITY CLEARANCE. Working on UK Eyes only projects, to qualify you must be a British citizen and to have not worked outside the UK for the last 5 years.

Lead Prototype Wirer Role Duties:
The Lead Prototype Wirers role is to ensure that team members are adequately experience for the tasks they have been set and that adequate resources are available to complete them in the time required.
To ensure that your team members are adequately trained throughout the department in line with the departments skills matrix.
To maintain the route card related to the manufacturing order (MO) whilst performing build activities by
*Not separating the route card from the work
*By completing the route card in accordance with WI2526 with no deviations
Day to day duties will include, but are not be limited to;
The selection and preparation of parts and components for yourself and your team members.
The Lead Prototype Wirer is still involved with the installation of wires and cables involving point to point wiring, looming and terminations of wires by soldering, screw, crimping etc to defence wiring standards. You will, when necessary, liaise with manufacturing engineering to assist in resolving of manufacturing /design problems and raising non-conformance reports when necessary.
Lead Prototype Wirer Job Scope:
*The Lead Prototype Wirer reports to the Production manager on the day to day activities of your team and their requirements (priorities, resources, equipment etc).
*Maintain an accurate timesheet ensuring that work on manufacturing orders are captured accurately.
*Ensuring the safe operation of tools and equipment in accordance with the work instruction or the appropriate risk assessment to ensure safety of self and colleagues
*Ensuring that Antistatic precautions are adhered to at all times in accordance with OS607A
*Maintain the accurate placement of WIP (work in progress) by returning jobs to the allocated storage locations on the shop floor in preparation for the next process stage
*Work to the assigned task in accordance with the master plan in a timely fashion ensuring adherence to the build hours and relevant IPC workmanship standard IPC/WHMA-A-620B
*To highlight issues with the build sequence, drawings or work instructions by raising non-conformances using the Q-pulse system in accordance with WI2528 and work with engineering teams and others in an open and honest manner in resolving production and design related matters.
