Position: Senior Systems Engineer

Specific Job Description
The programme has recently passed through its Critical Design Reviews (CDR) and is about to embark on its Verification and Qualification phase. In parallel to the main development programme, work continues on a number of streams including platform variant design, and assessment and embodiment of a number of key Change Proposals. To strengthen the team delivering this significant amount of work will require an experienced systems engineer to join the team to work across the entire spectrum of systems engineering activities associated with such a large and dynamic programme. The key areas for work will include the systems design of the variant platforms, management of supplier acceptance evidence, preparation and presentation of system level acceptance arguments, assistance in development of qualification test and analyses and continuing work to embody some quite significant changes into the baseline system.
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
*lifecycle systems engineering on complex military systems
*Use of DOORS for requirements management
*Management of supplier sub-system evidence
*Change proposal assessment and embodiment
*Development of Verification & Acceptance (V&A) statements
*Knowledge of MILCAN and Network Architectures
*Excellent Technical Author
*Development of Cost Estimations for technical work
*Experience in the Verification and Validation lifecycle
*Root cause analysis and reporting as part of a DRACAS process
Team Size and Structure : 10-15
Role Synopsis : Strong General Systems Engineering experience. Military/defence on medium to large projects.
